Liebe Rosi, "such a wonderful time" die wir in Mimpi hatten! Wer es nicht selbst erlebt hat, hat Bali nicht wirklich kennengelernt!! Hallo Rosemarie, ich hoffe, du hast eine gute Zeit in Bali - mindestens so gut wie wir sie bei dir erleben durften. Nochmals allen herzlichen Danbk für deine Hilfe und deine Gastfreundschaft. Auch als Motorradführerin hast du 100 Punkte gewonnen - es war herrlich auf Bali und speziell in deinem Mimpi Palast. Hello Rosemary, It has been 6 months already, since my husband and I have visited Bali and your little hotel. It was awesome! We are still telling our friends about our Bali experience, and can whole heartedly recommend your hotel. We loved the Sekumpul Waterfalls and the peace and power this special place offers to the spirit and soul. Of course we also enjoyed snorkeling at the coral reefs and climbing Mt. Batur. Unfortunately you were in Germany when we visited your accommodations, but your staff made up for your absence :). The rooms were clean and service was outstanding. I have never been to a place where service was as personalized as in Mimpi. Lunch at any time of the day (whenever we felt like eating), dinner at the pool, and room service were some of the things that awaited us in Mimpi. Thank you Kadek for making this stay so special. I also would like to mention our driver, Kadek Ardita, who was simply outstanding. He showed us many great places in Bali and patiently answered all our questions about Balinese customs and the culture. His prices were fair and he was very nice and caring. During our stay we met wonderful people like the fishermen in Air Sanih. We spent many evenings with our newly found friends, the fisherman and his wife, and were introduced to the true Balinese life. We loved this place because it gave us a chance to mingle with the locals and experience the real Bali. We had a wonderful time and made the right choice with staying with you! Kat & Kareem


We stayed at mimpi's for christmas 2011. The stay couldn't have been any more relaxing. We felt welcome and well looked after by staff and rosemarie herself. Mimpi is definitely worth spending some time, its a little oasis amid flower garden, with ocean view and mountain scenery alike. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is excellent. Hallo liebe Rosi, leider ist unser Urlaub zu Ende. Gern erinnern wir uns an die schöne Zeit bei Dir. Besonders danken möchten wir Dir für Deine nette Unterstützung bei der Planung und Durchführung unserer Tagesausflüge. Das Highlight war sicher die Besteigung des Mt.Batur und das Schnorcheln im Korallenriff. Unvergeßlich ebenfalls die Tempelprozession und die Darbietungen der verschiedenen Tanzgruppen bei denen wir als einzige Touristen beiwohnen konnten. Zum Abschluß noch ein Dank an Deine netten Mitarbeiter und unseren Fahrer Khadik sowie viele liebe Grüße an Paul und Caroline aus der Schweiz. Hallo Rosemarie, Du hast mir diese Visitenkarte gegeben, ich muss sagen, diese Internetanschrift hat mich sehr neugierig gemacht. Ich bin mir fast sicher, dass wir uns dort mal sehen.  This was my first visit to Bali. And I could not have started my journey any better. Rosi and her staff made me feel welcome and right at home from the very first moment on. Even though I travelled alone I did not feel lonely. Mimpi Bungalows is in a quiete area, where the original Bali still exists and is not catered to mass tourism. Rosi gave me many helpfull hints and advice for tours. The staff is so friendly, warm-hearted and courteous. And the facility is beautiful with it's garden, view etc.. I truely enjoyed my beautiful, relaxing time at Mimpi Bungalo and can only recommend a stay there.

 Hallo liebe Rosi Es ging ruckzuck und wir waren zurück im kalten Deutschland. Von unserem dreiwöchigen Baliurlaub, waren die 7 Tage bei dir mit Abstand die allerschönsten. Deine kleine Oase im Norden der Insel ist einfach sooooo "herzig" und ganz Bali ohne Touristenüberfluss. Das Personal, die Umgebung, die Ruhe, die tollen Ausflüge und deine netten und hilfreichen Beratungen waren einfach fantastisch. Vielen Dank für deine Begleitung bei einem tollen Tagesausflug und die netten Abenden auf deiner traumhaften Dachterasse. Du hast unseren Sommerurlaub zu einem unvergesslichen Abenteuer gemacht, an das wir immer gerne zurück denken werden. Deine Bilder-CD ist schon fast auf dem Weg zu dir.  Liebe rosmarie, babsi und ich wollten uns nochmal ganz herzlich für die wunderschöne zeit in eurem kleinen paradies bedanken! wir nennen es immer unseren "urlaub vom urlaub" :) nachdem uns 25 grad temperaturunterschied hier erwartet haben (das steht dir ja auch bald bevor...hihi) denkst man umso lieber an die schöne zeit zurück die wir bei euch am pool, beim essen oder mit dem motorrad in den bergen verbracht haben. ach ja, kleine anekdote noch am rande: auf dem weg in den süden hat uns gleich 2x die polizei aufgehalten und uns mit court & justice gedroht. am ende sind wir aber mit 3,50 euro strafe davon gekommen :) Also, ganz liebe grüße an das ganze team und danke nochmal für alles! Babsi und Annette P.S. Die Bilder CD haben wir natürlich nicht vergessen :)

 We stayed at Mimpi for the second time, after coming across it July 2008 when we were travelling up North Bali and were desperate for accommodation. We were delighted with the views and solitude. Unfortunately that stay was only for one night but next day Rosemary instructed our driver how to find the secret waterfall. As we were paying the bill I picked up a brochure that mentioned a traditional healer. My husband has cancer that has not been cured by conventional means. In late August - September 2009 we returned to Mimpi where Rosemary had arranged for the healer to see us. We stayed 4 days and when Mark was not having the therapy we ate the fabulous food, lazed by the pool, walked (a little) and went on a magical day trip organised by Rosemary. On our return to New Zealand it appears that the healing is being effective, with a decrease in the cancer levels in the blood. An amazing experience. We shall definitely return to Mimpi next year, whether further therapy is required or not, to catch up with Rosemary and to indulge in the delicious Balinese food.

 We stayed at Mimpi Bungalows in August 2009 and would highly recommend it. The hotel and setting are very special and perfect for a totally relaxing time . Rosemary helped us with our many and detailed enquiries with a smile and a wealth of knowledge . As a result we found beautiful places on this side of Bali that we would never have found without her help. The food was excellent and eaten on a lovely roof top space with great views. Definitely the best place we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Bali.

 Liebe Rosi & Mimpi Team Mimpi ist Super! Möchte mich für alles Bedanken. Die sechs Wochen in Bali waren sehr erholsam und leider doch zu kurz....Ich erinnere mich gerne an die schöne Zeit die ich mit dir Rosi und allen anderen verbringen konnte. Mimpi ist unbeschreiblich, die Kraft und Energie die man dort bekommt, findet man hier in Europa nirgends. Darum schlaf ich immer ein wenig länger, damit ich genug im Zeit zum Träumen habe :)..... Jedoch vermisse ich die schönen Abende die wir auf der gemütlichen Terasse gemeinsam verbracht haben. Besonders fehlt mir auch die tolle Bedienung und das leckere Essen, natürlich nicht zu vergessen die Hausgemachten Coktails..... Das Meer, die Natur und die zufriedenen Menschen haben mir sehr viel Kraft gegeben. Dies hab ich dir Rosi zu Verdanken...... Auf ein weiteres Wiedersehen freue ich mich schon sehr ......  You really want to get to know Bali? Then Mimpi is the most perfect place to stay! The quiet little homestay at the Northern coast of the island - still untouched by large-scale tourism - is a relaxing, private haven for travellers and an ideal base camp for trips to all sights, fascinating venues and secret wonders of Bali. It was at Mimpi in June 2008 that I actually spent one of the most peaceful, enjoyable, and at the same time adventurous holidays I ever had. Not only due to the beautiful location, but mainly thanks to Rosemary and her little, very knowing and competent team it was that I could to discover the most genuine and impressing spots on the island that only an insider or a local can show you. Of course, we also didi the classical tours: dolphin watching, climbing Mount Batour in the early morning hours, snorkeling at the Menjangnan coast (ravishing!), but a day-long jungle trip with Rosemary, visiting little frequented, gorgeous waterfalls, or enjoying the peaceful quietness of a charming, very well-kept private natural resort are among the things you cannot book via an ordinary travel agent. Back from a trip, a cosy and familiar bungalow right bside a pleasant pool awaits you. Choose the major terrace overlooking the bay or the charming site by the pool to enjoy the high quality food (good local ingredients, everything always freshly prepared - simple but wonderful!) and end the day looking into the clear, star-lit sky - on the upper terrace, on the garden porch, or on the "bale benong" at the pool.
